Montco Woman Gets 7 To 20 Years In Prison For Death Of Husband
A Montgomery County woman pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband and has been sentenced to prison.

NORTH WALES, PA -- A North Wales woman pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband and has been sentenced to prison.
Hsiu-Chin Lin will spend the next seven to 20 years in prison for the May 22, 2016 incident, court documents state.
Lin, 63, shot Chien-Kuo Lin, 67, in the chest at their home on 235 South 6th Street in North Wales last year.

Authorities said that Hsiu-Chin asked her children whether she should kill her husband. Her son said that it was okay because of the way his father, Chien-Kuo Lin, treated him when he was growing up, the report states. Her daughter tried to talk to her out of it.
Hsiu-Chin been upset with Chien-Kuo because he took the family business which they shared away from her, and was living with another woman.

Chien-Kuo Lin was pronounced dead at the scene. Hsiu-Chin was charged with first degree murder but pleaded down to third-degree murder.
The DA said that police found Hsiu-Chin Lin was found sitting at the kitchen table after she killed her husband, according to the DA. A .38 caliber revolver was in front of her.
According to 6ABC, Hsiu-Chin's attorney argued that she killed him after "years" of sexual and physical abuse.
