Montco's New FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Opens Blue Bell
Business owners and residents alike who suffered losses during the remnants of Hurricane Ida are eligible for assistance.

BLUE BELL, PA — A new Disaster Recovery Center, created with federal aid and run jointly by Montgomery County and FEMA, has opened up in Blue Bell.
Business owners and residents alike who suffered losses during the historic storm are eligible for assistance.
Specialists with FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be on hand in person to answer questions and assist individuals in applying for federal aid.

Federal assistance includes assistance with basic needs, essential home repairs, replacement of lost household items, temporary shelter, and more.

The center is located at Montgomery County Community College's Health Sciences Center, in the educational gymnasium at 340 DeKalb Pike.
The Center will be open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residents from any county included in the Major Disaster Declaration can access federal services through the Center. The Center also has county government services related to the storm available strictly for county residents.
Before applying for disaster assistance, be sure to take photos of damages and to list damaged or lost items.
The deadline to apply for federal assistance is Nov. 10.
