Montgomery Co. Man Killed In Jersey Shore Accident: Cops

LANSDALE, PA — A 47-year-old man from Lansdale was killed down the beach over the weekend, authorities confirmed.

The victim, who has not been identified, was walking with a 40-year-old woman Friday night, May 24, in Ocean City, New Jersey, police there said.

A vehicle was turning left onto Bay Avenue when it hit the pair.

The driver remained on the scene of the accident, and no charges have been filed at this time.

The man was taken by helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

The woman was taken to the Medical Center via ambulance, treated, and later released.
