Montgomery County Community College Wins WIP's 'Burger Brawl'
Montgomery County Community College's culinary arts students have won a WIP competition for the best burger.

LANSDALE, PA — Montgomery County Community College's culinary arts students have won a Sports Radio 94WIP competition for best burger.
Montco's ancho chili burger was rated by judges as the Burger Brawl Challenge champion. The burger will now appear on the menu at the Conshohocken Brew Pub in Bridgeport.
Montco students from the Culinary Arts Institute defeated challengers from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Drexel University Culinary Arts program and Career Institute of Technology of the Lehigh Valley.

Kathryn Trout of Pennsburg, Christopher Meagher of Lansdale and Christopher Ferrigno of Morrisville represented Montco.
“I could not have been prouder of how the students represented the College, CAI and themselves professionally from start to finish with attention to detail and graciousness,” Montco's Chef Ben Vozzo said.

WIP's Burger Brawl serves as a fundraiser for a literacy program in Philadelphia's public elementary schools.
