He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Navy.

Natale E. "Nate" Giorgio, 83, of Blue Bell, formerly of Norristown, died on May 25, 2012 at Mercy Suburban Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Novak) Giorgio.
He was born in Bronx, NY on May 18, 1929 to the late Nicolo and Mary (Malantonio) Giorgio.
Nate was a graduate of Conshohocken High School class of 1947, where he excelled in baseball and was a talented 3rd baseman.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Navy.
He was employed at AmChem in Ambler as a Metallurgist where he worked until his retirement.
He was a former member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church in Conshohocken and St. Patrick Church in Norristown.
Nate enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening, and bowled with the AmChem bowling league.
He was a sports enthusiast, baseball being his favorite, and was an avid fan of the Phillies and Yankees.
He is survived by two daughters Jean M. Jalloway and husband Joseph III of East Norriton, Natalie C. Giunta and husband Frank Jr. of Norristown,
three grandchildren Lauren DiCroce of Lansdowne, Frank Giunta III "Pudd", Nicholas Giunta both of Norristown,
two brothers Vincent Giorgio of Trappe, Nicholas Giorgio of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a brother Matthew Giorgio and two sisters Lena DiSanto and Christine Ciavarelli.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd. Ste.150, Blue Bell, PA 19422 are appreciated.
