New Android App WIll Lead You to the Girl Scout Cookies

It’s Girl Scout Cookie season and everyone is itching for his or her next sweet taste of those delectable treats. Other than the surprise sighting outside a local grocery store or super center, most people don’t know where or when they’ll spot a troop of Girl Scouts selling boxes of oh-so-delicious cookies.

Not anymore.

The free official Girl Scout Cookie app, the USA Girl Scout Cookie Finder, is now available for Android, and will navigate you by foot, bike, or car to the closest box of Thin Mints, Samoas, Peanut Butter Patties, or your favorite cookie, in your area.

According to app’s site, you can sort all of the listings by sale date or how close they are to you, or you can view all of them in a map view. And, if you’re not at home and get that craving, the app contains sale data for Girl Scout troops across the country.

You’ll also find the start and end to the local cookie season, so you’ll know when to stock up.
