Online Grocer Peapod Supports Wissahickon High School Students in Valuable Lesson

Local elementary school donates groceries to food pantry with the help of Peapod.

On Tuesday, January 24th, high school students from Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA met a Peapod delivery truck at Maddie Dixon Community Cupboard to help upload a $250 grocery donation they pieced together on behalf of Peapod’s Kids Give Back program.

The Kids Give Back program is designed to teach students about nutrition, shopping on a budget, and how to use this knowledge to give back to local food banks. Peapod is committed to helping its neighbors in need. Moreover, Peapod is pleased to encourage the next generation to give back to the community and help instill healthy eating and budgeting lessons at an early age through their Kids Give Back program.
