Over 100,000 Pieces of Three Stooges Memorabilia on Display This Weekend

The Stoogeum holds a monthly open house this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Stoogeum, located in Ambler, is the world’s first and only museum dedicated to the works of the Three Stooges. Owner Gary Lassin said he has been collecting memorabilia for over 30 years, after marrying into Larry Fine’s family.

However, he said he first got into the Three Stooges when he was 5 or 6 years old, and they were on TV when he got home from school.

The museum has close to 100,000 pieces of “Stoogeabilia” on display in the 10,000 square-foot, three-story museum. Items include Larry Fine’s driver’s license and Columbia Studios ID card, movie props and costumes like the “flying submarine tank” prop for The Three Stooges in Orbit, and novelties and toys that depict the Stooges from their beginnings to current items (even Three Stooges toilet paper).
