Real Estate Market Statistics for September 2013

The September 2013 Real Estate Market Statistics (provided by TrendMLS) are now officially posted for all our local counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.  Year to date in Montgomery County, settled single family homes were up 15.41% from last year.  The average sales price for these homes in Montgomery County came in at $321,000 up 2.56% from the previous year.  Looking at our surrounding counties, Bucks County was up 22.61% in settled single family homes, at an average price of $335,000, Chester County was up 15.93% at $359,000, Delaware County was up 12.42% at $272,000 and lastly Philadelphia County was up 19.05% at an average of $180,000.
