Richard Dunlevy joins Bluebell Kitchens’ award-winning design team

He brings architectural, homewares and interior design experience to projects on Philadelphia's Main Line and surrounding communities.

Bluebell Kitchens, which provides high-end kitchen and bath design services to the Philadelphia Main Line and surrounding communities, welcomes Richard Dunlevy to its design team at the Spring House studio.

“Richard’s varied design experience in architecture, luxury homewares and interiors, as well as his depth of knowledge of materials and products, makes him a valuable addition to the BBK studio,” says Jake Taylor, CFO. Dunlevy will be responsible for sales, design, material selection and project management.

A Pratt Institute architecture grad, Dunlevy began his career working for a decade at boutique architectural design firms in New York City before co-founding NOI-New York to design and manufacture luxury home goods for the wholesale market and a retail store on the Lower East Side. In 2007 he relocated to Philadelphia to join Center City architects Bower Lewis Thrower as a senior designer in the firm’s Interiors Department. During his tenure there he co-designed the Union League restaurant “1862 by Martin Hamann.”

Most recently, Dunlevy owned and operated Main Line Modern, a design-build firm for the Philadelphia residential market.

“Because I’ve worked in architecture for many years,” says Dunlevy, “I have a heightened understanding of construction and its impact on design and how to plan it to achieve the desired outcome. I also bring a ‘furniture-furnishing’ sensibility to the overall design and can source almost any material and product.”
