RSVP's Help on Call Program Needs Your Help!
If you have a few hours to spare, volunteering with RSVP's Help on Call Program is a perfect match for you.

Can you spare an hour or so a week to assist a senior who no longer drives and needs help getting to doctor's appointments? Perhaps you can help by providing transportation to the supermarket, organizing paperwork, doing minor home repairs or simply visiting and connecting with a homebound senior.
Many RSVP volunteers have busy lives or may still be working. The flexibility of Help on Call allows them to schedule a time that works best for them while providing help with crucial services to our seniors.
Depending upon the request, you could spend as little as 15 minutes making a phone call to check in with a homebound senior or as much as several hours getting them to and from a doctor appointment. Matches are made taking your availability into consideration.
No formal training is required. Compassion and patience for the elderly are needed. Job descriptions for each role: driving, shopping, visiting, billpaying and minor repairs are provided. For more information call:
