Signs Promoting White Supremacy Found In Parts Of Montco
Residents and local officials were shaken after seeing the lawn signs in numerous towns around the area.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Several signs supporting white nationalism were found in multiple parts of Montgomery County in recent days, according to several local residents and leaders.
The signs reading "NO WHITE GUILT!" were posted on street corners in several areas. Reports of signs came in to State Sen. Maria Collett's office from several municipalities, including: Lower Salford, Franconia, Towamencin, and Skippack. It's unclear if the signs have yet found elsewhere.
"Let me be clear: these views have no place in our community or Commonwealth," Collett said in part of a statement condemning the signs. "And those who value a just and inclusive society should know that I stand with them and I will denounce this hate at every opportunity."

Towamencin's Chief Timothy Troxel said no complaints had yet been filed in the township.
The phrase on the signs has been used as a commonly repeated rallying call for hate groups in recent months, as similar signs have been reported around the nation. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which investigates hate speech, violence, and racism around the country, notes that the phrase is connected to online white nationalist platforms.
The discovery comes as tensions remain high following the siege of the U.S. Capitol last week, where white supremacist flags and clothing were general among the rioters.
