Special Meeting of Wissahickon School Board Called to Vote on Teacher Contracts
A special meeting, open to the public, will take place at the high school.
The Wissahickon School Board announced a special meeting for Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wissahickon High School auditorium.
The board will be voting on the tentative agreement between the and the Wissahickon Education Alliance. The tentative agreement is a three-year employment contract.
After the ratification vote by the School Board and by Education Alliance, information about the contract will be available on the district’s website.

The former teacher’s contract expired June 30, 2010, and the district and the Education Alliance have been in negotiations for 18 months to come to this agreement.
