St. Anthony Preschool and Child Care Taking Registrations

From St. Anthony Parish Preschool & Child Care:

St. Anthony Parish Preschool & Child Care launched registration on April 1 with an open house for families with children 6 weeks to 5 years old.  Program Director, Ms. Christy Cincotta gave prospective families tours of the facilities and registration information.

St. Anthony Parish Preschool & Child Care is a year-round, faith based daycare program that will be housed in the St. Anthony Parish Center located at 260 Forest Avenue in Ambler Borough.  The childcare options are flexible, designed to meet today’s modern working parents needs. The offerings will range from 3-hour traditional preschool programs to full day 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daycare.  Parents will be able to choose the days they want from Monday through Friday.

The program is scheduled to begin on September 4, 2012.  All are welcome and families do not have to be members of St. Anthony Parish to register.  In a letter to families, Msgr. Stephen Mc Henry explains, the preschool and childcare program begins a new chapter in parish life, providing families with a safe & nurturing home away from home for their children. 

Cincotta said, “The response at our open house has indicated there is a great need for this program in the Ambler area and I’m excited to be a part of the process.”  Classrooms are filling quickly, within the first week of registration over 47 spots have been reserved. 

Cincotta earned her degree in Early Education from West Chester University and is a PA Certified teacher.  Her last position included 8 years of teaching at St. Anthony - St. Joseph Elementary School where she taught nursery classes and 3rd grade.  Also she is a mother of three.
