Now members can access exercise and aerobic schedules, programs, events and the status of the facility, right from their iPhone of Andriod device.
“With this new app, members will have the opportunity to search for group exercise classes, aquatic schedules, facility updates and more within a few seconds,” said a release from the Philadelphia and Vicinity YMCA.
Users can search for exercise and aerobics classes based on class name, instructors, time, days, locations and more. The app will also show the daily class schedule.

Plan for upcoming YMCA programs and registrations and new classes and share the information with friends and family via e-mail.
In case of bad weather, check to see if the Y is closed. Or check make sure the pool is open.

In the first week of launch, the Philadelphia and Vicinity YMCAs had more than 650 members download the app on their iPhones and Android devices.
You can download the mobile app for iPhone from the app store, for Android on the Android Market or from the YMCA website.
