Two designers join team at Bluebell Kitchens in Spring House

BlueBell Kitchens has added two interior designers to the professional design and space-planning team at the company’s Spring House studio.

Lori Kurnitsky, designer, and Olga Pasternak, associate designer, will be working directly with clients and the rest of the team to develop a client’s vision into a finished kitchen, bathroom or other interior space.

Kurnitsky, a 12-year industry veteran who was certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) in 2007, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Drexel University’s respected Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) program. Her work has focused primarily on residential design, specifically kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins and custom millwork; she also did an internship in office planning and commercial design. She lives in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Pasternak, who lives in Abington Township, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design. Along with a most recent position as visual merchandising manager for a major clothing retailer and design assistant with a local interior design firm, she held internships during college with two highly regarded interior design firms in the area.

Kurnitsky works with clients to develop designs, details and product selections, pricing estimates and contracts. She also produces technical design drawings for production and installation and works with manufacturers and other vendors and contractors throughout the building and finishing process to ensure that Bluebell achieves, in the final stage, the client’s vision.

Pasternak’s responsibilities include creating client designs in one of the software technical drafting programs, preparing presentations for client meetings and reviewing and developing client projects with the interior designer.
