Whitpain Township: Clean-Up Continues In The Township From Tropical Storm Ida

The Township’s contractor began working yesterday to make emergency repairs to Mt. Pleasant Ave. and plans to have the roadway reopened by early tonight. Mt. Pleasant Ave. sustained flood damage during the storm. Although the road will reopen to traffic later today, motorists can expect to see more activity and intermittent lane closures in the area next week as further repairs are made to the shoulder of the roadway.

A Cleanup Hotline is available at 844-965-1386 for anyone who has sustained damage and needs help with cutting fallen trees, removing affected drywall, flooring, and appliances; tarping roofs, and mold remediation.
