The roadway on Mount Pleasant Ave., near the bridge over the Wissahickon, sustained significant flood damage. The Township is working with a contractor to make emergency repairs to the roadway which started earlier today. However, due to the extensive damage, the road will be closed and impassable for several days.
On Narcissa, a large tree is tangled in wires and is blocking the roadway. The tree will be removed once the power lines are de-energized.

Numerous sections of the Township are still without power. To report a power outage, call PECO at 1-800-841-4141 or go to www.peco.com. Do not assume that a neighbor has already called PECO.
Please do not call the Township to report a power outage or check on power restoration times as only PECO can provide this information. Assume any downed power lines are energized and do not go near them.
