Whitpain Township: Township Parks Are Tobacco-Free Areas

The Parks and Recreation Department reminds visitors that Township parks are tobacco-free areas. 

The Township is a supporter of the "Young Lungs At Play" effort, which aims to prevent childrens' exposure to secondhand smoke at outdoor public play places. Children who are exposed to secondhand smoke are inhaling many of the same cancer-causing substances as smokers. 

Please do your part to keep Township parks tobacco-free.
