The award was given for the improvements to the Yost Road Bridge, which was a 60-year-old structure in deteriorating condition and prone to flooding.
The Township's work made the road safer for pedestrians and motorists and reduced flooding. The work involved widening the bridge by ten feet and adding a sidewalk on the north side of the bridge.
