Wissahickon School District Experiences Storm Issues

Judith Clark, superintendent for , wrote a letter to the community Thursday listing the weather-related issues that district encountered. Those included:

• The being utilized as an emergency shelter for Ambler Borough residents who experienced flooding in their homes
• The First Student bus garage in Ambler, which lost 18 vehicles due to extreme flooding conditions
• Numerous road closures and downed trees that significantly impacted the dstrict’s ability to safely transport students
