Wissahickon Students, Families Raise 12K For Hurricane Relief
Students and families in the Wissahickon School District raised more than $12,000 towards hurricane relief efforts.

AMBLER, PA — Great news during this holiday season: students and families in the Wissahickon School District raised more than $12,000 towards hurricane relief efforts.
Students set up donation boxes in every district school so that students and staff could make donations by dropping in cash or checks.
Online donations were also accepted.

Money raised went to the American Red Cross' efforts in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico in the wake of this year's devastating storms.
Lower Gwynedd led all schools with $5,595.92 raised; a total of $12,845.59 was raised by the district altogether.
