Wissahickon Valley Libraries Launch New Website

The launched their new and improved website during this week during National Library Week.

The website, which the library had been working on for four months is completely from scratch. Policies were updated to include the Blu-ray, ebooks, and other new media that the library lends in today’s technology driven world.

Anne Frank, Library Director, said the new website, features all of the things you can access from home, including the 18 electronic resources, ebook downloads and searching the library catalog.

Frank also said it is easier for people to sign up for the enewsletter.

Visitors to the website can also share library events on Facebook and Twitter, as well as search the calendar by kids, teens, and adult events, or sort by branch.

“We want to be a community center for our community,” said Frank.
