Frank Baum’s beloved tale through the beauty and athleticism of classical ballet. A perfect spring outing for audiences of all ages, this family-friendly performance will transport viewers over the rainbow and into a richly imagined world of dance, heart, courage, and imagination.

Cultivating joy in your everyday life! Also known as Junk Journaling! The workshop will provide examples of different types/styles of pages. There will be many varied materials to utilize. Each participant will leave the class with their work of Art either finished or in progress. Junk journaling is a flexible and creative hobby that lets you use everyday items like receipts and flyers to document memories, ideas, and feelings through collage, writing, and mixed media. 
<ol><li>This practice helps reduce stress because there are no rules or pressures to make something perfect.&nbsp;</li><li>Junk journaling can make everyday tasks more fun by helping you look for unexpected items to use in your journal.</li></ol>
Participants are encouraged to bring personal items with them to the class, (but not necessary). Many junk journalers make themed journals which could be vintage, art, seasonal, holidays, hobbies, grunge, modern. For others, junk journals can be eclectic, made up of product packaging, pamphlets, clothing labels, old stamps, etc.

Bring your family and friends to the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fireman’s Field Park and inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink at 250 South Nursery Avenue.

Enjoy a full day of live music and performances across multiple stages, along with an art exhibit, games, chalk art, and a variety of interactive activities. Browse offerings from local vendors featuring handcrafted goods, food, beverages, and more. There will be fun for all ages, including face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt or tote bag decorating. Local non-profits will also be on-site sharing information and resources. Special activities will highlight and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. 
Inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink—transformed into the Art Hall—you’ll find more than 30 works of art, live performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on activities including quilt square decorating and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Be sure to pick up a festival scavenger hunt booklet and complete it for a chance to win a prize!

Welcome to Jenkintown’s 34th Annual Sunset 5K Run. Enjoy our 
beautiful neighborhoods, and celebrate afterwards on our town square.
Are you ready to run the Summit? This challenging tree lined 5k 
course winds it’s way through the borough of Jenkintown without crossing
 Old York Rd. One of the largest evening 5K runs around. Come on out 
and join us! Live Music, food and prizes for all age groups.
Run Benefits : The Kiwanis Foundation of Jenkintown.
Kids Dash is for ages 6 and under, and no registration is required. All children will receive a prize.
Open Team Registration: Teams of 4 are encourage to participate, but you can have more on your team and are encouraged to do so.
The run will be held, rain or shine.
Starting Line:
The race 
starts and ends on Leedom St by the Town Square. The Kids Dash starts 
at 6:35PM, Runners start at 7:00PM. We are doing corral starts this 
year.The corrals will be as follow: Under 7 minutes, 7-9minutes, 
9-11minutes, and Over 11 minutes.
Registration Fees:
 Early Registration: $30 (1/1-1/31) Pre- Registration: $35 (2/1- 4/14) Late registration: $40 (4/15-5/24) Team Early Registration: $27 per person (1/2-1/31) must have a minimum of 4 people per team. Team Pre- Registration: $32 per person (2/1-4/14)- must have a minimum of 4 people per team. packet at Jenkintown Running Co, 416 Old York Rd, during business hours 
between May 30- June 1. For those who sign up online on or after 
5/25: On June 2nd, race day, you may pick up your packet at our 
pre-registration check-in table starting at 5:00pm.
