2 Ardmore Spots Have Must-Try Tomato Pies, Philly Mag Says

ARDMORE, PA — Two Ardmore eateries have landed on a list of the entire Philadelphia region's best tomato pies.

Corropolese Bakery, which has set up shop in the Ardmore Farmers Market, Norristown, Audubon, Limerick, and Douglassville, was recently included on a list of Philadelphia Magazine's top pies around.

"They offer a ton of different topping options, from white cheddar to eggplant, but it's the plain red gravy original that's truly iconic," the magazine says.

Carlino's Market in Ardmore was also included.

"Rather than the typical smooth red sauce, Carlino’s house-made pies are topped with a chunky tomato sauce amped up with fresh basil," the magazine says of Carlino's

A total of 16 bakeries were listed by Philly Mag.
