2 Charged In Ardmore Lululemon Smash And Grab

ARDMORE, PA — Authorities in Lower Merion Township said two men have been apprehended and charged in connection with a January smash-and-grab robbery at the Ardmore Lululemon.

Quran Harmon, 23, and James Jordon, 49, both of Philadelphia, were charged in connection with a break-in at the store. Authorities said the two stole nearly $11,000 worth of merchandise.

According to police, the incident happened at about 1:52 a.m. Jan. 6 at the store, located at 49 St. Georges Road, Unit 11 in Suburban Square.

Police were called to the store for a security alarm activation and found the glass front door shattered.

Investigators learned two suspects used a sledgehammer to break the front door to enter the business, police said.

They then stole nearly $11,000 in merchandise before driving off in a U-Haul pickup truck, authorities said.

Lower Merion Police Detectives quickly identified the two suspects involved, who were also tied to a similar burglary at a Famous Footwear in Philadelphia the night before.

Lower Merion Police Detectives, along with Philadelphia Police Detectives, served a search warrant on Jan. 11 at a residence in Philadelphia where merchandise from both burglaries was recovered.

Warrants for Harmon and Jordan were issued on Jan. 19. Harmon turned himself in to Lower Merion Detectives on Jan. 29. Jordan was arrested on Feb. 6 by Upper Moreland Police during a separate incident.

Jordan is being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail in connection with the Upper Moreland case, court records show. Harmon was released after posting 10 percent of $10,000 bail, according to court documents.

Harmon’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 17, and Jordan’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
