2 Killed 'Execution Style' In Fairmount Park Area
A man and a woman were found with gunshots to their heads and chests late Thursday night near Mount Pleasant Mansion in the park.
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police have identified the man and woman found shot to death in the Fairmount Park area Thursday, and a $40,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in these killings.
Philadelphia Police said a man and woman were found dead on the roadside on the 3800 block of Mount Pleasant Drive at about 10:58 p.m. Thursday.
The two were found with gunshots to the head, police said.

Police described the killings as "execution style," Fox 29 reports.
Police identified them as Thurston Cooper, 49, of the 1500 block of Chew Avenue, and Krystina Chambers, 38, of the 500 block of Devereaux Avenue.

Medics pronounced them dead at the scene at 11:12 pm.
