2 More Home Burglaries In Lower Merion, 4 Total This Week

A string of burglaries has been plaguing Lower Merion Township, as police have reported four break-ins at township homes this week alone.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Lower Merion Police are reporting two more residential burglaries occurred in the township, bringing the number of break-ins to four this week.

According to police, the two additional burglaries occurred during the day Wednesday, June 20 and overnight June 20.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on June 20 a home on the 700 block of Cherry Circle in Wynnewood was burglarized.

Police said the suspects got inside the home through an unlocked front door and stole jewelry from the home.

And overnight on June 20, a home on the 2100 Block of Greenbrier Drive in Villanova was hit but burglars.

The suspects got inside the home's basement through an open garage door, police said. The suspects also got inside and unlocked vehicle.

Police said loose change and clothing were stolen in that incident.

These two burglaries make four break-ins this week, as two were reported earlier this week.

A home on the 200 block of Indian Creek Road in Wynnewood was broken into sometime in the afternoon Wednesday, June 20.

And on Tuesday, June 19 500 block of Montgomery Avenue in Merion.

Both of these burglaries committed during the daytime hours.
