Firefighters went into the home to search for the two reported missing people.
They found an adult male in the doorway of a second-floor rear bedroom. He was removed from the home and placed in the care of EMS personnel from Narberth Ambulance.
Once the fire was extinguished in the second-floor bedroom, an adult female resident was found inside the room.
The remainder of the home was checked, and no other residents were found.
Both the man and woman, reportedly a mother in her 90s and her son, who was in his 60s, died, officials said.
Another woman who was in the home escaped the blaze and was taken to Lankenau Medical Center for observation.
Officials said none of the smoke detectors in the home were operational.
