2nd Annual Main Line Bike Race Set For Aug 12

Time to hit the road and get some miles in before Aug. 12, because the Main Line Bike Race retuning to Ardmore for its second installment.

ARDMORE, PA – With summer here, it's time to hit the road on the bike and get some miles in to practice for the Main Line Bike Race in August.

The second annual Main Line Bike Race will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12 at Narberth Ambulance in Ardmore.

The 6-corner criterium-style bike race, consisting of a one-mile loop through Ardmore will include a community ride/race for children, a food donation drive, and a variety of community-focused activities throughout the day as spectators watch riders compete along the race loop.

Proceeds from the race will benefit Narberth Ambulance.

Race registration is open through 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10.

Lankenau Medical Center is partnering with Narberth Ambulance to host the race.

The race loop runs along Lancaster Avenue, West Athens Avenue, School Lane, East Athens Avenue, and Rittenhouse Place.
