1 Dead, 3 Hurt After Crash On I-476 In Lower Merion
A woman died and three others were hurt in an early morning multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 476 north in Lower Merion Township.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman was killed and three other people were reportedly hurt after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 476 north in Lower Merion Township that closed the highway for several hours Monday.
According to PennDOT, the crash occurred at about 5:15 a.m. Monday between Exit 13 and Exit 16A in Lower Merion Township.
According to NBC10, a tractor trailer, a car, and a white van towing a U-Haul trailer were involved in the crash.

PennDOT and Pennsylvania State Police closed all lanes of I-476 north at about 6:15 a.m.
Authorities reopened the closed portion of highway at about 12:10 p.m.
