3 Lower Merion Roads Impacted By Various Projects Next Week: PennDOT
Stormwater management, sign installation, and pedestrian bridge work will affect traffic on three Lower Merion roads next week.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Three roadways in Lower Merion Township will be affected by various projects next week, according to PennDOT.
Traffic on Interstate 76 east, Wynnewood Road, and City Avenue will be impacted.
Stormwater management work will force lane closures on Wynnewood Road Monday through Friday next week.

Also starting Monday is a 24-hour-day, seven-day-a-week traffic shift on City Avenue due to work on a local project to improve the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge.
The shift will be in place Monday through Tuesday, Feb. 6 in both directions between Cardinal Avenue and Lapsley Lane. Additionally, the southbound left turn lane onto Cardinal Avenue from City Avenue will be closed.

Then on Tuesday next week, a right moving lane closure is scheduled on I-76 east between the Hollow Road on ramp and the Belmont Avenue Interchange from 9 a.m. to noon for sign inspection.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
