346 Coronavirus Cases In Lower Merion, 14 Dead

Updated figures provided Wednesday show increasing case counts in the township, as well as

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — New data provided Wednesday shows Lower Merion is still seeing more coronavirus cases.

The new data revealed there are 346 cases in the township. That's a 44 case increase from Patch's last post on the virus in Lower Merion Township.

Nearby in Narberth, just 15 cases have been identified. County wide, there are 4,037 cases.

One hundred sixty-nine cases are in men and 176 are in women. The gender of one case has not been identified.

The average age of coronavirus patients in Lower Merion is about 59.

Additionally, the township now has 14 deaths related to the virus, a six-death increase from the last Patch update.

Ten deaths were people in their 80s, three were people in their 60s, and one was in their 40s. Seven were men and seven were women.

Countywide, 244 people have died from the virus.

Springfield has seen the most deaths with 42 to date.
