
The efforts of the Botantical Society of Lower Merion just got a huge boost.
The group just received a $5,000 grant from the Merion Foundation.
The goals for this long-term project are to control invasive plants, create a pleasant place for visitors and improve habitat for wildlife, the society said on their Facebook page.

Volunteers are encouraged to donate or come out in person to help restore native woodland.
The society is in Merion Station on 100 Merion Road.
