Radnor Township police said an alligator gar fish was found in the pond at Fenimore Park in Wayne this week.
A resident found the fish, which is common in the Gulf of Mexico and Midwestern area, dead in the pond.

Police said Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission officials said the fish was unable to survive in such cold water.
The fish was turned over to the commission for preservation and education.
