Pets Rescued From Carbon Monoxide At Haverford Home

HAVERFORD, PA — Firefighters rescued a family's pets during a carbon monoxide incident last week in Lower Merion.

It happened on the afternoon of July 13 at a home on Grays Lane, in the Haverford neighborhood.

Ardmore firefighters helped rescue a dog and a rabbit while crews worked to mitigate the incident.

The animals are doing fine, officials said.

"Incidents like these are a reminder that pets are family too, and we're always glad when both people and animals have a safe outcome," the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore said in a statement.
