3 New Restaurants Open In Ardmore: Dessert, Tea Time, Jamaican Fare

Ardmore's dining scene has some new options.

ARDMORE, PA — Ardmore's dining scene has some new options for dessert, tea time and Jamaican food.

Here are three restaurants that recently opened:

Half A While

22 W Lancaster Ave.

This new bakery and lounge specializes in tea and cakes with a range of Asian-inspired sweets, breads and beverages. Options include fruit tea, creamy bubble tea lattes, and artisanal breads. More info.

The Jamaican Pattie Shop

107 E County Line Road

A catering business of the same name is opening a storefront. The Jamaican Pattie Shop will offer Caribbean-infused fare such as hand-crafted patties, jerk chicken and callaloo. The business also touts vegan and gluten-free options.

The shop will soft-launch Saturday, from noon until it sells out, according to the Ardmore Business Association. Starting next week, the eatery will be open Thursday through Saturday, with expanded hours after Labor Day. More info.

Mango Mango

38 Greenfield Ave.

Named the nation's second-best dessert chain by USA Today 10Best, Mango Mango combines traditional Hong Kong sweets with modern culinary techniques. The chain calls mangos the "king of fruits," building around it since the first location launched in New York City's Chinatown. More info.
