Ardmore Day began as an open house in 2019 and has since grown into a community-wide event designed to draw visitors throughout the downtown business district.

Organizers said activities will be spread around Ardmore, encouraging visitors to explore local shops and restaurants while taking in entertainment and attractions.

New this year will be a corn maze and a vintage car show on Rittenhouse Place.

The Ardbark Dog Parade and Costume Contest will also return, while organizers are adding a Children's Spooktacular Parade and Candy Scavenger Hunt.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly is scheduled to make an appearance, along with Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop and Eagles cheerleaders. Local musicians from Meridee Winter's School of Music are also expected to perform.

Other attractions will include a trackless train, bumper cars, face painting, caricatures, food vendors, live entertainment and sidewalk sales at Ardmore businesses.

The celebration comes as the Ardmore Business Association, which hosts the annual celebration, marks 75 years. Founded in 1951, the volunteer organization advocates for the local business community and works to enhance Ardmore's commercial landscape.

Admission to Ardmore Day is free. Here's the event page.
