Applications Open For Lower Merion School District Superintendent

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is now taking applications for its new superintendent.

Applications will be accepted now through June 30.

The salary is in the range of $275,000, depending upon qualifications, experience, and credentials. Benefits are similar to district employees.

The district hired search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates to assist with hiring an new superintendent.

The firm conducted a survey, numerous interviews and focus group meetings to assist the Lower Merion Board of School Directors in identifying the primary characteristics desired in a new superintendent, upon the retirement of Superintendent Robert Copeland this fall.
