Ardmore Avenue Closing Overnight For Weeks In Lower Merion
PECO crews will be conducting utility work in the area and that means traffic will be affected by lane closures.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy is planning weekday overnight lane restrictions on a Lower Merion road for utility improvement and the impacts will last for a few weeks, PennDOT said.
Ardmore Avenue will have shoulder and lane closures Monday, Sept. 16 through Friday, Oct. 4.
The affected stretch is between Lancaster Avenue/US 30 and Haverford Road in Lower Merion and Haverford townships.

Closures will be in place each day from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. the next day.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on Darby Road between Coopertown Road and Marple Road in Haverford Township, for utility restoration;
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, flagging operations are scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Darby Road and Cedar Grove Road in Haverford and Marple townships, for test hole work;
- Monday, September 16, through Friday, October 4, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled on Ardmore Avenue between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Haverford Road in Haverford and Lower Merion townships, for utility restoration; and
