Ardmore Brew Named Among Best Beers In Pennsylvania: Thrillist
Pennsylvania has numerous stellar breweries, but the Thrillist website said this beer made right in Ardmore is one of the state's best.
ARDMORE, PA — A staple on the Main Line is once again getting national praise for its unique offerings in the brewing world.
The website Thrillist recently drummed up a list of the best beers in all 50 states.
To curate the list, Thrillist says it "looked for the pioneers, beers that made history, paved the way for others to excel — and beers that are simply the most beloved in that state."

"We’ve included everything from milky porters to jammy lambics, IPAs both hazy and crisp," the publication writes. "Some of these beers have been around for decades, some get better when aged for decades, and others are brand spankin’ new. Some are seasonal and some are perennials."
And on the Main Line, it was Tired Hands in Ardmore that was featured along two other Pennsylvania brews.

Thrillist chose the Alien Church IPA to highlight.
Here's what write Zach Mack said about the 7 percent ABV Alien Church:
As a brewery that proudly proclaims to be in the business of “strange & beautiful” beers, Tired Hands has succeeded in pushing the envelope in more ways than envelopes knew they possibly could be pushed. That’s why Alien Church stands as an example of their ability to set the tone of the conversation in beer: As a deeply dank and fruity IPA with not-so-subtle haze and a thick fluffy white head on each pour that has made it so famous, there’s a reason why people still travel to get their hands on this.
The other Pennsylvania brews featured on the list were Brew Gentlemen General Braddock’s IPA and Victory Prima Pils.
