Life is just a bowl of cherries - WHY? Frecon Farms is bringing sweet and delicious cherries to the market this weekend, bing cherries! What can you do with bing cherries?

1. Eat them right out of the box - who can resist!
2. Try this great recipe for a cherry-mint spritzer, cool and refreshing during our heat wave!
3. How about Bing Cherry Jam - that way, this winter, when you are longing for a summer day, you can spread some of this delicious jam on toast and remember this heatwave!
4. Chocolate and cherries go hand in hand - try this amazing recipe for double chocolate cherry muffins.

We’ll have lots more available at the market tomorrow. Summer produce continues to impress: cool as a cuke cucumbers; zucchini - yellow and green; peas - sugar snap and snow, maybe shelling; broccoli; crunchy kohlrabi; maybe green beans; lots of greens; and sweet strawberries.

Meadowset Farm will be at the market with fresh cuts of lamb and their creamy sheep’s milk cheeses; farm fresh eggs too. Valley Run CSA will have pork and beef and poultry, eggs too!

The Frecon Farm Bakery will be stocked with breads, pies, quiche, cookies, donuts and more.

Have you tried International Dumplings - great empanadas! Dia Doce, our award winning cupcake bakery will be at the market - she bakes regular and gluten free cupcakes!

Pawsome Healthy Treats will be at the market with something special for your four legged friends. Dogs just love them!
