Ardmore Jewelry Store Targeted By Burglars Monday Morning: Police

Lower Merion Police said three men tried to break into Govberg Jewelers in Ardmore's Suburban Square early Monday morning.

ARDMORE, PA — An Ardmore jewelry store was the target for would be thieves early in the morning Monday, police aid.

Lower Merion Police were called to Govberg Jewelers at 65 St. James Place at about 12:32 a.m. Monday for an alarm activation.

Police said they found the front glass door was shattered, but the burglars did not get inside the business.

The suspects were described as three unidentified men.

One was wearing light colored clothing, dark sneakers and black mask.

Another was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, light-colored pants, white sneakers, and a white mask.

It is unknown what the third actor was wearing.

Police said they were last seen getting into possibly a Volkawagen Golf heading west on Montgomery Avenue.
