Ardmore-Made Brew Named Pennsylvania's Best

ARDMORE, PA – If you enjoy beer and live in the Philly area, you know about Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore.

The popular brewers have earned recognition from many food and drink publications since they started brewing and pouring beers.

And now one of their signature beers is being held up as Pennsylvania's best.

The Daily Meal website compiled their wisdom into the annual guide to the best food and drink across the country.

In that list, Tired Hands' "Alien Church" beer was named the best been in the Keystone state.

Alien Church is an oat IPA with a 7 percent alcohol by volume.

It's brewed with lots of malted oats and "intensely extraterrestrially" hopped and dry hopped with American hops.

Tired hands says Alien Church has notes of kiwi smoothie, orange creamsicle, blueberry jelly, ruby red grapefruit, bright passionfruit.
