Ardmore Mother Asks For Less Homework For Daughter: Report

It's part of a growing "no homework" movement.

One Ardmore mother was in the news recently for asking for less homework for her daughter.

Amy Clipston, a chemist, told her daughter’s first grade teacher that 10 to 20 minutes of homework a night wasn’t accomplishing anything, according to an Associated Press report.

Clipston said her daughter was doing fine in the Lower Merion school, the report states. The teacher agreed to not give the girl homework.
