Ardmore Oktoberfest: Township Eyes Sept. 24 Date For 2022 Festival

ARDMORE, PA — Prost! A tentative date for Ardmore Oktoberfest has been set for fall 2022 as organizers prepare to return to a street festival feel.

Township documents show the event is scheduled for Sept. 24 from 2-8 p.m. The rain date is the next day.

Lower Merion Township's commissioners will see an agenda item on the 20th to waive the township's open container code for the event, in Schauffele Plaza and a portion of Cricket Terrace.

The townships' building and planning committee passed the waiver on July 13.

The Ardmore Initiative, who puts on the event, also has to provide the required certificate proving adequate insurance coverage.
