Ardmore, Penn Wynne Among PA's Best Places To Live, Niche Says

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – The Ardmore and Penn Wynne neighborhoods in Lower Merion Township have been named among the best places to live in Pennsylvania, according to a new list from Niche.com, which analyzes neighborhoods, school districts and colleges.

Sixty one Philadelphia-area communities cracked the top 100.

Niche ranks Penn Wynne as the fourth best place to live in the state and Ardmore as the sixth best.

Nearby, Narberth was ranked No. 15, Radnor No. 21, and Berwyn No. 10.

Chesterbrook in Tredyffrin Township ranked the first overall in the new list.

To calculate the rankings and assign grades to communities, Niche looks at factors like the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities. Niche gets its data from government sources like the Department of Education, the FBI and the U.S. Census.
