Ardmore Rock N' Ride 2023: What You Need To Know

This year's Ardmore Rock N' Ride aims to raise $300,000 for Narberth Ambulance to help them continue providing crucial emergency services.

ARDMORE, PA — The Third Annual Ardmore Rock N' Ride is just a month out, and we have the details you need to know before the community event.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 19 in downtown Ardmore.

The free, outdoor, family friendly event features an official USA Cycling bike race, a multi-stage concert produced by Ardmore Music Hall, a youth bike race, and a family fun zone, all while benefiting Narberth Ambulance.

Bike categories include Men’s 4/5, 3/4, Men’s pro 1/2, Women’s 5, 3/4/5, Women’s pro 1/2/3, and Master’s 45+ and 55+.

Entry fees vary from $35 or $40 by category.

Qualifier races will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.

Additionally, there are two kids categories.

One is for kids 4 to 6 years old (100 meters) and one for kids 7 to 9 years old (200 meters). All kids ride free.

The "Lower Merion Family Race Course Experience" is $5. Helmets are required.

Family and kids races will be held from 3:10 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.

Suburban Square stage

  • William Tyler & The Impossible Truth — 2 p.m.
  • Ivy Sole — 3:30 p.m.
  • Rayland Baxter — 5:15 p.m.
  • Rubblebucket — 7:30 p.m.

Schauffele Plaza stage

  • Travel Lanes — 1 p.m.
  • Pressing Strings — 2:30 p.m.
  • York Street Hustle — 4 p.m.
  • Yam Yam — 5:30 p.m.
  • Ocean Ave Stompers — 6:45 p.m.

After the final set, there will be a ticketed disco dance party at Ardmore Music Hall from Riot Nerd at 9 p.m.

Organizers hope to fundraise $3000,000 for Narberth Ambulance at the 2023 event. One hundred percent of net proceeds will benefit Narberth Ambulance.
