Ardmore's Favorite Cheese Mongers at The Flower Show

The Philadelphia International Flower Show runs from Sunday, March 4, through Sunday, March 11.

The Philadelphia International Flower Show, one of Philadelphia’s most anticipated events, is just days away.

One can only hope that spring is right around the corner. Early blooms are helpful in beating the winter blues. But there’s no amount of winter drear that can sustain an entire Hawaiian inspired event.

The Philadelphia International Flower Show begins this Sunday, March 4, and runs through next Sunday, March 11, at The Pennsylvania Convention Center at 12th & Arch Streets. The doors open at 8am on Saturday and Sundays, and 10am weekdays.

Amid the lavish orchids which make up the “Islands of Aloha” displays, there will also be shopping and snacking booths, including vendors, and Ardmore’s favorite meat and cheese masters, DiBruno Bros., whom we can only hope will be in the spirit of the event: Hawaiian inspired cheese mongering, anyone?!

Tickets are $27 for Adults, $20 for Students and $15 for kids.

All proceeds from the show go to benefit the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, its urban greening projects, and its goal of planting one million trees in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
