Ardmore Spanish Immersion School To Open In 2020

ARDMORE, PA — A new Spanish immersion preschool in Ardmore is taking admissions for the 2020 year.

Mi Casita Main Line, located at 116 Cricket Ave. in Ardmore, is expected to open in January next year and those who apply by Dec. 1 can get a guaranteed tuition rate for 2020.

Space is limited and the school will reach capacity by early fall.

Children at Mi Casita Main Line will be taught by native Spanish speakers.

Mi Casita teachers ensure student comprehension by using hand and body cues, stories, inflection, facial signals, songs, games, and fun to make clear what is being communicated.

Research shows students with early foreign language education gain additional academic, cognitive and employment benefits later in life.

Most importantly, Spanish immersion creates multicultural, critical thinking students, and future leaders.

Mi Casita, which means "my little house," is among only preschools in the country to implement project-based learning.

This education style focuses on engaging students through real-world problem solving, with the goal of developing critical thinking and communication skills. Project-based learning, combined with complete Spanish immersion, creates a truly unique and enriching learning experience at Mi Casita.
